Welcome to my website!. Feel free to browse around and check out everything. Be sure to check out the “Listen” section for my demo reel and “Bio” for the complete scoop on my journey thus far. What makes me stand out as a composer is my multi-dimensional approach to music composition, going beyond just auditory. I enjoy incorporating my knowledge of anthropology, ethnomusicology, world cultures and human psychology into my scores.
I am available for hire to compose for video games, documentaries, trailers, films, commercials, and anything else. Please contact me if you have any inquiries.
Nick Pittsinger was born in Tampa, Florida on May 15th, 1990. Ever since he was a toddler, he was entranced by music, whether it was his father’s guitar-playing or him just slapping at the family keyboard. With no musical training or prior serious playing, Nick was already bringing crowds of people to gather around keyboards at the local music store at the age of ten. At 11, Nick picked up the guitar and started to teach himself how to play, after a just a few lessons, Nick decided being self-taught was the way to go. He started intensely studying music theory at the age of 14, and traded the guitar for a piano, once he noticed that he wasn’t getting his full ideas out on a guitar. By the age of 18, Nick was a fully-fledged multi-instrumentalist, playing everything from bass guitar to drums to flute.

After playing in various bands from classic rock cover bands to death metal and jazz bands, Nick decided the best way to really excel in music was to go solo, and take up production. At the age of nineteen, he shut himself in his room and studied production theory, FL Studio, Reason, and a bit of Ableton. He also continued his studies in music theory, composition, and jazz theory. Working with outdated software, with broken hardware, Nick was somehow able to create a 14-track album called Music for Dolphins, using a MIDI keyboard that only had eight working keys.
It was only in 2010 that Nick finally got some working gear, and the results of this new acquisition were immense. He went on to produce hundreds of tracks over the course of months, honing in on his skills and mastering his craft. He started to pursue his career in soundtracking viciously at the beginning of 2011, while still making electronic music for fun. 2011 proved to be a very successful year for Nick, as he toured around the country playing his electronic music to thousands of people and began to garner the attention of some of the best producers in the world. He also composed the music to quite a few successful games, including Bouncy Mouse (which has sold over 3,000,000 copies) and Greedy Spiders (which has sold over 2,000,000 copies!) Towards the end of 2011, Grammy Award Winning artist Skrillex hired Nick to do an orchestral medley of all of his songs, which eventually landed a spot on the special iTunes edition of his “Bangarang EP”. The song, as of February, has 1.4 million views on YouTube.
The future holds incredible things for Nick as he heads into bigger projects, including RPGs to be released on Steam and short films from up and coming directors.
